Gauze

You would think gauze fabrics are way too lightweight for Fall - and while its true we use it a LOT in Spring/Summer we also have some gorgeous pieces in Fall for the warmer parts of the world - plus we often used double gauze to give it a little extra thickness.

Gauze fabrics origin was from the Gaza region and was imported to medieval Europe for specific religions. It is often referred to in the Arabic and Persian word Qazz, meaning raw silk.

During the early 13th century, gauze was forbidden and instead a fine type of silk commonly known as Gazzalum was being imported.

It is usually a thinner, almost translucent, lightweight, loosely woven fabric and one of the best selling parts of Me & Henry.
